2025/26 Season Awards
1,440 games. 118 players. Tuesday nights at the Bangalow Hotel. Here's how the season played out.
A season decided by half a point
It came right down to the wire. Across a full season and 1,440 games, Avalon Harris-Pepper took out the 2025/26 title with 102.0 points, edging out Shaun Gallop on 101.5 — half a point between first and second after everything else was played. Shaun actually won more games outright, 91 to 83, but Avalon's 17 tiebreak wins to Shaun's 7 settled it on countback. Bradley Noonan rounded out the podium in 3rd with 76.5 points — and also racked up more games than anyone else across the season, 160 in total.

Across the Season
Congratulations, and thank you
Congratulations to Avalon, Shaun and Bradley for topping the table, to Tomi Bek for the most fearsome win rate of anyone at the board, and to every player who put in the games across the year. A season this long only works because people keep turning up — 118 players came through the door at the Bangalow Hotel across 2025/26, and every one of them is part of why this competition means something.
Thank you to everyone who played a game, kept score, showed a new player the ropes, or just made a Tuesday night at the pub a bit more interesting. See you at the board.
